I'm a freelance Final Cut Pro editor, filmmaker, and tinkerer located in Vancouver, BC.
Here's a little rundown of what I've been running through Final Cut Pro in the last year or so...
I regularly work with Panasonic DVX-100a, HVX-200, and Canon HV20 footage (and personally own a DVX and HV20 with Letus35mm adapter). I have worked extensively with the Sony XDCAM HD series of cameras and decks. Occassionally I deal with footage from larger format Sony HDCAM cameras and Panasonic DVCPRO HD cameras (such as the SDX900). I'm also beginning to work with the RED camera, and will be posting my findings. I'm also very interested in older cameras... I own a Nizo 801m super8 camera, and a PXL 2000, and shoot a Holga. Editing wise, I currently run an 8-core Mac Pro with dual 24" Dell displays running Leopard, and occasionally edit on the road with a little macbook.
