Hello,

That's a great post. Just what I was looking for. Do you know if using the Matrox compressHD accelerator card still produces files that will import into FCP?

(I've tried creating H.264 files using ffmpeg, and FCP won't accept them - it just gives me a "General Error" message).

I'm not sure, but I think so. I just got a Matrox MXO2 Mini (with Max) the other day, so I'll be testing this out soon.
